Data deletion instructions

Last updated 14 September 2026. Ardito processes messaging data on behalf of the businesses that connect their own WhatsApp number, Facebook Page or Instagram account. Deletion is done by a person on request, by email to hello@arditohq.com. There is no self-serve deletion yet.

If you are a customer of a business that uses Ardito

If a business you contacted uses Ardito to measure its messaging, and you want the record of your conversation removed, email hello@arditohq.com with the phone number, or the Facebook or Instagram account, you messaged from, and the name of the business if you know it. We will delete the matching conversation data, including the matching raw events Meta sent us, working with that business, within 30 days, and confirm by email.

If you are an Ardito account holder

Facebook Page or Instagram account: press Disconnect next to it on the Connect page of your workspace. Ardito tells Meta to stop sending that account’s events. A Page and the Instagram account linked to it share one subscription at Meta, so Meta stops sending only when neither is still connected. You can also remove Ardito in Facebook under Settings, Business integrations.
WhatsApp number: disconnecting is not in the workspace yet. Email hello@arditohq.com from your account’s email address and we will remove Ardito from that WhatsApp account by hand within 30 days.
Stored conversations, or your whole account: email hello@arditohq.com from your account’s email address. We will delete the workspace, its conversations, its reports and the matching raw events by hand within 30 days, and confirm by email.

Disconnecting a channel does not delete the messages already stored. They stay until you ask us to delete them. DigitalOcean’s automatic database backups can hold deleted data for a limited period after that, until they expire.

Requests received through Meta

We do not receive deletion requests from Meta automatically. If you removed Ardito from your Facebook or Instagram settings and also want your data deleted, email hello@arditohq.com as described above.
